Fumes is an eerie piece of art. The composition consists of a cigarette buts in an ashtray with a large cloud of smoke flowing up on the canvas, integrating a skull and two hands – one skeletal, one flesh, each gripping a cigarette. The ethereal blue ombré background enhances the floating, dream-like atmosphere of the piece.
